This was the first group belt promotion since Professor Mayko and Karen arrived last year.

It was a great event and we had many students receive stripes and belts. The day started with the youth group test.

Each student had to demonstrate a series of techniques with included take-downs and submissions. If they performed these techniques with the appropriate skill,

they were promoted to their next belt. This group has been working hard for months to get ready for this promotion and 17 youth students earned their next belt

along with 11 new adult blue belts.
