Prime Fights

Two of The Cellar Gym’s Muay Thai fighters competed at the Prime Fights event on Saturday, November 16th in Schererville, Indiana. Both fighters faced well-matched opponents and displayed impressive skill, with our team ultimately going 1-1 on the evening.

Logan Sahlen went the distance against an equally trained and talented Class C fighter. Logan showed excellent counter boxing off his opponent’s kicks; his clinch positioning, ring control, and forward pressure were strong. He was able to secure a split decision win after three rounds of skillful action.

Grady Pesch took a big step up to fight an opponent with twice as much experience. Grady had a great performance and fought all three rounds with no quit, but lost by decision. Taking hard fights is not easy but the growth is irreplaceable. Good work Grady!
