During Warriors Fight Promotion’s February 21st Event, promoter Bobby Anderson presented Adam McDermid with the 2008 award for Most Outstanding Fighter.

Adam McDermid is a member of the Cellar Kickboxing Gym’s Cellar Fight Team.  His last fight was September 19th at the Mermaid Event Center in Mounds View, MN where he won the vacant IKF Cruiserweight World Title by defeating Daniel Brison by unanimous decision; the event was promoted by Warriors Fight Promotions.

In 2008 McDermid also traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete at the IKF World Classic Tournament where he won the Cruiserweight divison for full contact rules kickboxing.  Following the IKF tournament, McDermid traveled to Chicago, Illinois where he also won his division at the KICK/WAKO U.S. National Tournament.
