The Cellar BJJ team did awesome at the Tap Out Cancer tournament on June 10! We had 7 competitors and took home 5 medals (3 gold and 2 silver).
Quick recap of our team’s matches:

Cheyenne won her first match via armbar in 30 seconds and lost her second match on points, earning silver at her first tournament ever.
Alex lost by decision in a super close match and took fourth overall.
Dave beat his opponent by 15 points in the first and by submission in the second and took gold, and his opponent outweighed him by 50 pounds!!
Ben P. won all three of his matches by submission and took gold in a huge division, also getting the fastest submission of the day with a 15 second straight ankle lock.
Ben O. worked very hard and lost his first match to a tough competitor. This was his first tournament and he’s excited to do more.
We’re super proud of all these competitors! Way to go, team!
