Two competitors from The Cellar Gym, Tim Leung and Kyle Felegy, competed at the Maximus XIV fight event on February 22nd in Aurora, Illinois.

In his grappling superfight, Tim went the distance to a decision victory! He showed great composure and slick movement against an aggressive opponent, countering with great leg entanglements and control off the breaks. Congrats Tim!

Unfortunately, Kyle got caught with a liver kick in his Muay Thai bout. Although he tried his best to continue, he didn’t beat the count and the ref called the fight. However, we at The Cellar could not be more honored to have such a great representative and warrior for the cellar. Kyle not only fought some injuries and sickness going into fight week, but he showed up, made weight and fought his hardest! We love you Kyle and we’ll move onto the next one!
