Full Contact Kickboxing is coming to the Mermaid Event Center in Mounds View, MN on September 19th and when the bell rings all eyes will be on New Brighton’s Cellar Kickboxing Gym.  Three Cellar kickboxers will enter the squared circle to fight including: Adam McDermid who will fight for the International Kickboxing Federation’s Amateur World Title in the Cruiserweight division, Mitch Whiley who will challenge for the IKF’s Minnesota State Super-Welterweight Title, and Josh Bernstein who will make his amateur kickboxing debut.

McDermid (22-4-1) will take on West Virginia’s Daniel Brison (7-1) in a 5-round battle for the gold strap.  Mitch Whiley (6-1) will challenge Cambridge’s Adam Pattenude (5-0) for the MN state title.

The event is all General Admission seating and tickets are on sale now at the Cellar Kickboxing Gym for $30.  It’s a small venue so get your tickets before they sell out.  Also, arrive early at the show to ensure you get a good seat.  Doors open at 7:00pm, fights start at 8:00.
