Cellar Fighters Win Divisions at Arnold Sports Festival

The Cellar Fight Team traveled to Columbus, Ohio over the weekend for the Arnold Sports Festival’s kickboxing tournament.  Competing for the Cellar was Chris Cichon (162 lbs Low Kick division) and Derek Knudson (170 lbs FCR division).  Cichon won both of his fights by decision to capture the Arnold Classic championship belt.  Knudson won his first bout by decision and his second by TKO (corner stoppage).  The Cellar also helped work the corners of friends Jim Klauba (Chicago, IL) and Travis Mason (Park City, UT) who also won their respective division.

The Arnold Sports Festival occurs every year, drawing more athletes than even the Olympics.  The festival featured an EXPO with 700 fitness-related booths and more than 17,000 athletes competing in 37 events, including 12 Olympic sports.  Schwarzenegger hopes everyone returns next year because, of course, he’ll be back.
