Labor Day Weekend Hours
We will close for Labor Day Weekend beginning at 1pm on Friday, September 4th for our State Fair Day gym outing.
The gym will remain closed through Monday, September 7th. We'll reopen for our regular class schedule on Tuesday, September 8th. We hope you have a safe and fun holiday weekend!
Meet Us at The Fair
State Fair season is nearly upon us! Want to meet us there??
There's truly no better way to kick off Labor Day Weekend than at the Great Minnesota Get-Together! Join us for a Team Cellar outing on Friday, September 4th to enjoy a fun afternoon of midway games, deep-fried food on a stick, and all the Sweet Martha's cookies you can handle.
We have 35 discounted tickets available at the front desk - first come, first serve! (Limit 2 per member)
The Cellar Gym will be closing early at 1 pm on Friday 9/4 to allow all of our awesome staff members and students to enjoy this iconic summer outing! Meet up at the Grandstand at 3pm (optional) or simply enjoy your day at the Fair -- hope to see you there!
Monthly Open Mat
Our next Open Mat session will be Sunday, September 6th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Open Mat is FREE and open to all Cellar members and non-members ages 18 and up. All schools and affiliations are welcome!
* These sessions will offer BJJ Open Mat access only. Other areas of the gym will not be available for Open Gym use. Ages 18+ only.
TCG Fall Open
Registration is now open until October 7th!
The TCG Fall Open is making its debut at The Cellar Gym.
This is a new bjj tournament geared toward youth and novice adults as well as matched super fights for advanced adults
-Gi and No Gi for youth
-No Gi only for white and blue belt adults
- ADCC - styled matched super fights in the cage for purple belt and above
We're really excited about this event and about being able to give more opportunities to competitors in the Twin Cities and the Midwest. We hope this is the first of many events for us to host like this going forward.
