Tara kicked off Saturday for our team with an overwhelming win, beating her opponent 10-0. She got caught in the finals against an experienced competitor and ended up placing 2nd overall. Dave dominated his weight division, winning the finals 9-0 and placing 1st at his weight. He then went onto the absolute, where he won his first match by submission. He ended up losing in the semifinals and placed 3rd in the absolute division. Kenzie performed well in both her gi division and the absolute division, but fell just short in both.
