Congratulations to Kru Chris Cichon, head Muay Thai Instructor at The Cellar Gym, for being promoted to Associate Instructor under Ajarn Chai at the Thai Boxing Association’s Pacific North West Muay Thai Camp in Portland, Oregon. The 24th annual Muay Thai Camp was held at Camp Wilkerson from July 22-27 and was attended by 120+ participants from all over North America as well as a few from Europe.

In addition to being promoted, Kru Chris was also awarded a plaque for “hard worker” at the camp. This was Chris’ first time attending the annual camp and he will be quick to tell you it was unbelievably grueling, but also an amazing experience. Chris got to train with some of the best Thai Boxers and instructors in North America and he has added many new skills and drills to his own teaching repertoire.

Get ready to work extra hard in Muay Thai class the next few weeks!
