Antonio Dvorak Wins ESP Heavyweight Title
Antonio Dvorak stepped back into the ring on Saturday Night as he challenged Mahmoud Aburia for the Extreme Striking Promotions Heavyweight Title. The bout, scheduled for five rounds, got off to a quick start as Antonio set the pace and controlled the distance with his jab and his heavy low kicks. He out-worked an out-scored Aburia during the first two rounds and looked to come out strong in the 3rd round to get a KO stoppage. Early in the third, as Aburia covered up, Dvorak landed a monster uppercut that sent Aburia to the canvas. When the action resumed, Dvorak went back to work quickly and scored another standing 8-count. Aburia showed a ton of heart as he picked himself off the canvas once again, but Dvorak was relentless throwing a hard high kick and followed with punches that forced referee Tom Sullivan to jump in and stop the action.
