Richard Abraham Wins In Uganda
Team USA’s Richard Abraham returned home from Kampala, Uganda victorious after defeating the WKF Intercontinental Champion, Moses Golola of Uganda. Abraham was joined by Team USA and The Cellar Gym coaches, Chris Cichon and Justin Whiley. The African fight experience was unlike anything the three had ever seen before as the event promoters and officials clearly wanted Richard to lose the biggest kickboxing fight that Uganda had ever hosted. The referee made some ridiculous calls during the fight, one judge was completely biased, and the timekeeper decided to stop several rounds early; whenever Golola was in danger. But none of the external influences made a difference as Richard Abraham out struck Golola for 5 rounds and even floored him with a huge head kick. At the end of the contest, one judge had it 50-45 for Abraham, another scored it 49-47 Abraham, and somehow the third judge had 35-50 for Golola.
Congratulations to Richard Abraham and Team USA Kickboxing for returning victorious from Africa and bringing home the WKF Intercontinental Title!
