The Cellar’s Caleb Merth made his amateur Mixed Martial Arts debut Saturday night at Driller Promotion’s Havoc at the High Five 2 in Burnsville, MN. Caleb took on Mike Steger (1-0) from Stillwater, MN and controlled the entire bout. He used his crisp boxing techniques to set up powerful take downs and wear down his opponent. In the second round he pinned Steger against the fence, landed strong uppercuts, scored a takedown, and then sunk in the fight ending choke. Caleb Merth won by submission (rear naked choke) in the 2nd round. Congratulations Caleb!
