Pam “Bam” Sorenson picked up another win this past weekend when she challenged Cora Thompson for the Capitol City Cage Fights’ Women’s bantamweight title in Lansing, Michigan. The title fight was actually a surprise for Pam as she had been training for a 3 round fight and didn’t find out it would be a 5-round main event fight until after she arrived in Michigan. But Pam stepped up, accepted the challenge, and went on to win a unanimous judges decision in her opponents backyard. Pam scored several takedowns in the fight and showcased her ever improving striking.

Pam’s next fight is scheduled for Feb 22nd at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN against Amanda Wyatt.
