Terrance Young is a decorated high school and college wrestler, but now you can add MMA champion to his resume. Terrance captured the Savage Entertainment Amateur Featherweight Title on Saturday night when he defeated Vitaliy Samoylenko by TKO at :45 of the 4th round.

The amateur title fight scheduled for 5x 3:00 rounds tested Terrance’s cardio, but his striking and wrestling carried him during the bout. Terrance dropped Vitaliy several times during the bout with straight rights and when the two tied up, Terrance was able to use his superior wrestling to get the takedown and a few times was able to get giant slams that got the crowd fired up.

It was a great win for Terrance who had been out of the cage for a long layoff while he had a baby boy and joined the National Guard. He now looks forward to fighting as often as possible and advancing his MMA career.
